Chief Boatswain's Mate Phillip Null is an active duty U.S. Coast Guardsman and an accomplished operator across the service's broad range of search and rescue, law enforcement, security, and disaster response missions. His fifteen year career has included assignments in San Francisco, Miami, New Jersey, Ohio, Puerto Rico, and Virginia. He holds an Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels Merchant Mariner License, an AAS in Emergency Management & Planning from Red Rocks Community College and a BAS in Emergency & Disaster Management from American Military University. Chief Null is currently the supervisor of underway instructors at the U.S. Coast Guard's Boatswain's Mate 'A' School in Yorktown, VA, the accession point for all future boat operators in the service.
